First Stop: Lake City FL. RV Park
It had been raining for several days, so the grounds at this RV Park were saturated. We ran into swarms of Love Bugs on our way here, and Steve stood in standing water for hours scrubbing the front of the truck & Air Stream.
May 30 - Twin Oaks RV Park, Elko GA
May 31 - June 2: Stone Mountain GA RV Park
The carving depicts three Confederate figures, Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson.
Unfortunately, we missed the nightly light show due to the rain.
June 3 - Sweetwater Valley KOA - Sweetwater TN. A very peaceful Place.
June 4 - Whispering Hills RV Park , Georgetown KY
This park was open with no trees, we were parked next to the swimming pool.
June 5 - 9 Air Stream Factory - Jackson Center Ohio
-- saw Carol and George for lunch. We had minor repairs on the Air Stream and tires were rotated.
June 10 - 12 Casey KOA - Casey Illinois. This is the town that during the financial decline in 2008, a business owner of the town started making "Big Stuff". Most of the items are in the Guinness Book of Records.
June 13 & 14 - Sleepy Hallow RV Oxford Iowa
very bad water, unlevel sites - will not stay here again
Charlie & Barb Mims drove down from Waterloo Iowa and met us for lunch. Brandon Iowa has a large Skillet.
June 15 - July 22 Shelby County RV / Hotel
We spent several weeks getting my Dad's house ready for sale.
Visited with Linda (Steve's Step Mom)
and some of Steve's relatives - Sister Ann, Nephew Danny - his fiancee
Zane (16 y/o Grandson) and I went to see Imagine Dragons - Excellent concert.
Here's my Niece Hanna in her HS Jazz band performance. She's on the right.
Dale stopped by on his motorcycle, on his way to Oklahoma for a wedding. He met his Brother in Law, Gary in Wichita. We took a hike around the park in Shelby Iowa.
A visit with Annette ... Long time Girlfriend -- plus a gorgeous sunset. Ice Cream at the Dairy Queen in Harlan.
Zane stayed with us for 1 week - we traveled around Iowa, to Lincoln Nebr, then to Kansas to visit Steve's Brother John and his family

July 26 - 29: Air Stream Factory - Jackson Center Ohio
-- stayed 2 nights with Deanna & Bob in Canada; traveled there via our truck. Bob and Deanna like their antiques.
July 30: Thompson Grand River Valley KOA, Thompson Ohio
July 31 - Aug 3: Branches of Niagara Campground & Resort - Niagara Falls, USA side.

The First Morning we woke up to a ROAR - there was flooding along our road and Hector Falls was at least 10 times bigger

We found 2 other water falls near Hector Falls plus a Glass Museum in Corning NY. Along with the beautiful Glass objects there was information about fiber optics and other interesting glass products.
